Mother's Day - is on my mind

This is my first mother's day. My little bumper at 5 months old. Oh how those months have flown! She will be crawling any day now.On some days it seems like she wants to skip crawling  and go straight to running. Mama is not ready for that! I want to hold on to these precious baby days as long as I can.

  1. They do grow fast!! Mine just turned four and I swear it happened in the blink of an eye! For Mother's Day, a favorite excerpt from a poem by Ruth Hulbert Hamilton:

The cleaning and scrubbing can wait till tomorrow
But children grow up as I’ve learned to my sorrow.
So quiet down cobwebs; Dust go to sleep!
I’m rocking my baby and babies don’t keep.

    Happy Mother's Day!

  2. Those "baby days" do fly by... our son is going to be 25... 25! Gosh I can't believe I just typed that! CRINGE! 25... it was only yesterday that he was a sweet baby.Right? Do enjoy every moment of that little bumper.
